Horseshoe Lake Landscaping
With an extremely steep slope to the water, the front yard was unusable. A large granite retaining wall as well as stone steps fixed the problem and created beautiful outdoor living space.
The challenge was getting the materials to the lake side as a large rockcliff was formed on both sides of the cottage. A special road was built to bring in the landscaping supplies.

With an extreme slope to the lake a huge armour stone retaining wall had to be built to support the large fire pit patio area. The fire pit is done in peastone and rimed with river rock. River rock and peastone outline the patio area creating a cohesive look. Granite steps allow for safe access down to the dock and step stones set in pea stone keep feet clean. We were so happy to work with these customers to make their front yard a safe and usable space. They can now get the most of lakeside living!
