Lake Joseph
After years these home owners decided a full landscaping makeover was needed at this beautiful property on Lake Joe.
The original wood railway-tie steps were replaced with granite to last a lifetime.
Features
Most of the yard was covered in grass with a small flagstone walkway connecting old railway-tie wood steps. These were removed and replaced with large granite step stones set in peagravel and granite steps. The steps lead around the side of the house connecting the back, side and front entrances off the deck. A granite patio was built to enjoy the views with plenty of space for the whole family. Granite bedrock was barred off and incorporated into the walkway leading to the patio. Granite steps lead down to the dock and boathouse. Peastone and river rock are used to compliment and blend the landscape with the larger rock. Original boulders were incorporated into the new landscaping to have a feature from the past.
